Who is Sarah?

Hi! I’m Sarah, a junior majoring in Statistics, originally from the Chicago-land area. My academic interests are rooted in data analysis, and I’m especially passionate about how data can shape our understanding of the world. I’m the type of person who loves to explore many different areas, which is why I enjoy challenging myself by taking courses outside of my comfort zone. This curiosity drives me to create projects that tell a story through technology, and it’s one of the reasons I chose Statistics—it’s so versatile and can be applied in so many different contexts. Alongside my studies, I’m also a proud member of the women’s golf team. I also love exploring new places, whether it’s through travel or by tasting new foods from different cultures. Some of my future goals include graduating and finding a career in which I am thoroughly passionate about and enjoy!
